Fuzzy Classic Gameboy | 3D | Blender

In this project, I took a 3D model of a classic Gameboy that I created years ago during an online course on product rendering, and experimented with a variety of textures to give it a fresh new look. My goal was to challenge myself to create textures that were both visually interesting and evocative of different materials.
As I was choosing colors for the textures, I stumbled upon a palette that I absolutely loved. The colors reminded me of the animated film Monsters, Inc., and I couldn't resist incorporating them into the design.
In addition to experimenting with different textures, I also played around with creating a LED panel texture, using a combination of emissive and glossy shaders to create a glossy, reflective surface that would catch the light in interesting ways.
To enhance the overall look of the model, I also experimented with different compositing tools in Blender, such as distortion, glow, and ghosts. These effects helped to give the model an otherworldly, almost ethereal quality.
Throughout the project, I paid close attention to the lighting and shadows, adjusting them as needed to create a more dynamic and engaging scene.
Overall, I am thrilled with the results of this project and look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of what is possible with 3D texturing and rendering in Blender.
